Advance Automation Company is a Chicago-based privately-held cylinder manufacturer founded in 1960. The company supports the sales and service of its product line through a nationwide network of distributors, who sell mainly to OEM end users.
We are seeking a full-time General Laborer to play a vital role in our operations.
Responsibilities:
Cutting aluminum tubing
Assembling components and ensuring that all parts fit correctly
Using small hand tools, including drills, air tools, etc.
Washing machined parts
Providing support for other departments and areas as needed
Performing physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials to designated areas
Cleaning and maintaining workstation, tools, and equipment when required
Requirements:
Willingness to learn our systems
Works well with others in the organization; must be a team player
Ability to follow instructions
Must be punctual and reliable
Must be detail oriented
Exceptional eye-hand coordination
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Compensation Package:
$18/hour
