Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Warehouse Associate and Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various warehouse duties related to the storage, organization, and distribution of doors and windows products.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks with doors and windows products
- Assist in inventory management and organization of warehouse space
- Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and staging orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and targets
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or labor-intensive role preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities
- Forklift certification is a plus
