Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy man to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure our facility remains in excellent condition. The role requires basic skills in plumbing, painting, minor electrical work, and general repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform minor plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining fixtures.
Carry out touch-ups and painting projects to maintain the aesthetics of the facility.
Repair dents, holes, and other minor damage to walls and surfaces.
Handle basic electrical tasks such as replacing light fixtures, resetting circuit breakers, and addressing minor electrical issues.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems, performing preventive maintenance as required to avoid major repairs.
Ensure tools and maintenance equipment are in good working condition and properly stored.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including repairs, inspections, and inventory of supplies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in maintenance work, with skills in plumbing, painting, minor electrical work, and general repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
Capability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, outdoor settings).
