About Us
We are two very busy business partners seeking a long-term, reliable, detail-oriented, and trustworthy individual to assist with household chores and cleaning at our two private residences located 5 minutes apart. Both homes have similar household needs. The position includes cleaning, laundry, errands, and light pet care.
Household Number 1: Bianca's House
Located in Portage Park, Chicago
Includes Bianca, her husband, 1 daughter, 2 dogs (Dalmatian and Beagle)
3 Stories including basement, 5 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms
Household Number 2: Erica's House
Located in Kilborn Park, Chicago
Includes Erica, her husband, 2 sons, 2 dogs (Maltese and German Shepard)
3 Stories including basement, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms
Our homes are a 5 minute drive from eachother
Schedule & Hours:
Ideally, we'd love for you to be at Bianca's home 2 days a week and Erica's home 2 days a week
Mondays & Wednesdays: Bianca's House
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Erica's House
4 days per week, 6 hours per day
Key Responsibilities (for both households):
House Cleaning:
Regular tidying and surface cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchen)
Deep cleaning tasks such as windows, baseboards, and carpets on a scheduled basis
Wash, dry, fold, and put away clothes
Handle delicate fabrics appropriately
Drop off/pick up dry cleaning when needed
Household Support:
Wash and put away dishes
Track and restock household items (e.g., pantry, toiletries, supplies)
Run errands: grocery shopping, dry cleaning, returns
Occasionally letting dogs in the back yard and light cleanup as needed
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects:
Occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards, etc.)
Help with organization projects
Qualifications & Requirements:
Prior housekeeping or household management experience required
Comfortable with pets and basic pet care
Ability to understand and communicate in English (other languages welcome)
Reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented
Must provide references and pass a background check
Must have reliable transportation to travel between the two homes and run errands
Paid through our business as an independent contractor (no benefits provided)
