Job Description:
As a Lead Finish Carpenter, you will perform highly detailed finish carpentry work, such as installing trim, molding and custom cabinetry, but also supervise a team of carpenters, manages on-site operations, coordinate with other trades and ensures projects are completed on time, with in budget and the to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and install trim, baseboards, crown molding, and cabinetry
Build and install custom shelves, mantels, and built-ins
Read and interpret design plans and job scopes
Work closely with project managers and crew to complete jobs on schedule
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Use hand and power tools with skill and care
Ensure all work meets company quality standards
Requirements:
10+ years of finish carpentry experience (residential preferred)
Master Carpenter Certification or equivalent with work experience
Strong understanding of woodworking tools, materials, and techniques
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods
Strong communication and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with custom cabinetry or built-in installations
Own basic hand tools
