A proactive multi-tasker who anticipates potential bottlenecks and quickly addresses them to minimize downtime. A person who maximizes product flow and minimizes downtime by performing pre- setup tasks.
Day Shift hours
Essential Duties:
· Reads work orders to prepare next order(s) according to production schedule, including gathering tools and testers, performing tool and tester function checks, administering paperwork, etc.
· Moves parts which include performing weigh counts, updating tags, work orders, operator logs, etc.
· Replenishes point-of-use tools and components.
· Assists staff as required or requested. Able to perform all production functions when needed, using hands, hand tools or testers.
· Perform all QC/testing functions as assigned.
· Able to operate any production equipment needed to perform tasks.
· Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor.
· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations including asking for assistance with lifting heavy items.
· Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision while adhering to schedules and quotas.
· Must be able to work as part of a team.
· Perform related duties as needed by supervisor or manager.
· Ability to work extra hours or Saturday as needed. Regular and consistent attendance required.
