Maintenance Mechanic
Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Familiar with LOTO Procedures
Troubleshooting machinery, repairs and performing routine preventative maintenance.
Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
Detect malfunctions through observation (sound or visual)
Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality
Repair broken or faulty machine parts
Perform emergency repairs
Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
Cleaning, repairing and installing equipment and parts as needed.
Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
Operating a variety of hand and power tools.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Complying with health and safety regulations.
Performing general maintenance work on buildings, as assigned.
Requirements and skills
Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role
Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics
Familiarity using various power and hand tools, such as hoists and grinders
Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads
1-2 years of welding experience
A driver’s license is a plus
