Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with experience in plumbing, drywall work, painting, and general repair services. You will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and appearance of our properties located in Berwyn, Oak Park, Forest Park, Cicero, and Broadview, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our tenants and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, drywall patching, and painting.
- Conduct general repair services such as minor electrical work, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with tenants, property managers, and team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in plumbing, drywall work, painting, and general handyman services
- Must have own tools
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation plan, and reliable smartphone
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
