Compensation: Starting at $18.00/hr
We’re looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual who takes pride in their work to help maintain a beautiful 100-unit historic apartment building in Oak Park. This is a hands-on position involving cleaning, maintenance, and light repair work.
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of the building interior and exterior
(elevators, office, lobby, mailroom, stairwells, laundry rooms, etc.)
Clean and organize maintenance and storage areas
Assist with move-ins/move-outs (debris removal, painting, cleaning)
Perform seasonal tasks (shoveling snow, salting, minor landscaping)
Work cooperatively with the property manager and maintenance team
Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents
Requirements:
Previous cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
Must be reliable and detail-oriented
Must be able to lift and perform physical tasks
Available for occasional on-call work
Pride in creating a clean, well-maintained space for others
