We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person to help with weekly property maintenance, lawn care, and some animal care at our 3 acre, 100-year-old home in Lake Forest. This is a part-time role with steady work, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being around animals, and helping out with a variety of tasks. We’re hoping to build a long-term working relationship.
Responsibilities include:
Lawn care (mowing, trimming, clearing debris)
Gardening (weeding, planting, basic landscaping)
General maintenance (power washing, painting, minor repairs)
Light construction projects or odd jobs
Assisting with chickens, dogs, and a cat (feeding, cleaning, etc.)
Schedule:
Once per week (flexible day, 4–6 hours/week to start)
Occasional extra hours or seasonal tasks available
Ideal Candidate:
Enjoys outdoor and hands-on work
Comfortable around animals
Handy with tools and basic home repairs
Punctual, trustworthy, and communicative
Has reliable transportation to Lake Forest
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate depending on experience
