Chicagoland ProWash is excited to expand our team and is currently seeking hard-working, motivated individuals to join our growing business. As a kitchen exhaust cleaning company, we specialize in cleaning hood systems to ensure fire safety in commercial kitchens, and we're looking for qualified applicants to help us maintain our high standards.
What We Offer:
Competitive Pay: Starting at $18-$23 per hour based on experience.
Independent Work: While you'll receive guidance, much of the work is done autonomously, so you'll have the freedom to manage your tasks.
Training Provided: No experience? No problem! We’ll train you to become proficient in the job, though prior experience with power washers or in the restaurant industry will be an added advantage.
Your Responsibilities:
Cleaning Kitchen Exhaust Systems: You'll be responsible for thoroughly cleaning kitchen hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans, ensuring they meet fire code standards. This is key to preventing kitchen fires and keeping businesses safe.
Setting Up and Operating Equipment: You'll be working with power washers, pump sprayers, and other specialized tools. Think of it as a high-powered cleaning mission where you get to blast away grease and grime.
Documenting Work: After completing each job, you’ll take before and after pictures and fill out necessary documentation, noting any repairs or maintenance that may be needed.
Customer Interaction: Communication is key, so you'll be interacting with restaurant managers and staff, ensuring they are satisfied with the service and addressing any concerns promptly.
What We’re Looking For:
Dependability: You need to be punctual and reliable, as restaurants depend on timely service during their off-hours.
Physical Fitness: This job requires lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders to access roof-mounted fans.
Flexibility: You must be available to work evening to night shifts (typically Sunday to Thursday, 8 pm to 3 am). Our work hours align with restaurants' closed hours, so you’ll often be on the job during quieter, off-peak times.
Communication Skills: It’s important to interact respectfully with both customers and team members, ensuring smooth operations on every job.
