We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Property Preservation Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining and preserving residential properties, ensuring they remain in excellent condition for future occupants. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, and experience in facilities maintenance. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while also supervising teams when necessary.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of residential properties to assess condition and identify maintenance needs.
Perform various preservation tasks including residential painting, electrical repairs, and general facilities maintenance.
Utilize schematics and logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
Operate tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
Supervise and lead teams during property preservation projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding property conditions and maintenance updates.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including detailed reports on property conditions and repairs made.
Experience
Proven experience in residential painting, facilities maintenance, or related fields.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory; leadership qualities are essential.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
Ability to read and interpret schematics related to property systems.
