Job Summary:
We are a small family owned business seeking a dedicated and reliable Exterior Cleaning Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing exterior cleaning services, including gutter cleaning, window cleaning, and pressure washing for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and passionate about delivering high-quality service to our clients. There is opportunity to grow into a lead/management position. The schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays due to weather reschedules and peak season. We operate March-December.
Key Responsibilities:
Gutter Cleaning:
Safely remove debris from gutters and downspouts.
Ensure proper flow and functionality of gutters, performing minor repairs when necessary.
Inspect and clean the entire gutter system to prevent blockages and water damage.
Window Cleaning:
Clean and maintain windows on residential and commercial buildings.
Ensure streak-free, spotless results while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Safely operate ladders and use specialized equipment for hard-to-reach windows.
Pressure Washing:
Use pressure washing equipment to clean exterior surfaces, including driveways, patios, siding, decks, and fences.
Adjust pressure levels for different surfaces to avoid damage and achieve optimal cleaning results.
Safely handle all pressure washing tools, ensuring proper maintenance and cleaning after each job.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their cleaning needs and preferences.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when representing the company.
Address customer concerns or questions promptly and politely.
Safety & Maintenance:
Follow safety protocols and regulations, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure it’s in good working condition.
Report any equipment issues or damages to management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in exterior cleaning or related field is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
Reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
English Speaking
Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working at heights (e.g., using ladders or scaffolding).
Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for long periods.
Compensation:
$20.00 per hr during 30 day training period and then increase based upon performance
