Tricon Paving, located in Northwestern Illinois, is actively recruiting skilled pavement marking technicians (Stripers) for the 2024 Paving season. Experienced striping crew (painter) will be able to:
Layout and stripe parking lots as assigned (highways) (short lines) (arrows) (stencils).
At least 1 year of experience.
Perform basic maintenance on striping equipment.
Effectively work with all varieties of striping equipment.
Ability to read all blueprints/ plans.
Operating core machines / sign installation.
Clean and prepare pavement for paint, epoxy, tape, or thermoplastic.
Lift, carry, load, and unload construction items, including pavement marking supplies, safety cones, stencils, etc.
Works well under stressful and time sensitive projects.
Willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or foremen with other duties and requirements.
FOLLOW SAFETY POLICIES.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a driver’s license with insurable driving record.
Understands both English and Spanish.
Great communication skills
At least 18 years old.
Ability to work 6 days per week (weekends), or when required.
Work overtime when required
Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Receive and understand specific instructions
Willing to work outdoors and in all types of weather.
