Banford Road Farm is a certified organic vegetable farm in Woodstock, IL. We are looking for a driver/vendor to load a van and trailer at the farm in Woodstock on Saturday mornings. Hours are 3:30am-2:30pm. The market is located in Park Ridge, IL.
Duties include setting up tents, tables, arranging produce carefully, setting up price tags, and selling to customers. We do not have a cash register, so you must be able to do simple mental math. All of our prices are whole dollar amounts, with no additional sales tax added. You just add the items in your head and give customers a total and give correct change in cash. We don't use coins. You must be able to load/unload 40lb totes of produce.
I prefer a morning person who is friendly, who's interested in farming or gardening, and who enjoys talking to people. I strongly prefer someone 25 or older for insurance purposes. I strongly prefer someone who lives locally in Woodstock or within 15 minutes of Woodstock.
