Note: We receive and send legal documents in the mail that must be processed timely. Your physical presence at the office is important to keep things on track.
This is a full-time position.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
Attorney and legal services support and administration (timely preparing client documents, submitting filings and handling government agency-related services, meeting deadlines)
Firm communications, including some marketing
Attention to client experience
Coordinating, working closely with team
Independent, timely self-management of responsibilities
Contact/matter/records management (timely recording, filing, and updating relevant contact, document, and matter information for firm and client records and use)
Template/forms/document management (timely updating forms and templates, managing form, template, and other document files and versioning)
Managing CRM (client intakes and firm relationship management), vendor and other relationships
Scheduling and management of attorney and firm calendars
Managing and updating processes and workflows
Assisting with office administration
Handling mail and deliveries
Assisting as needed
Available full-time

Ability to work in office
Experience and skills:
Legal admin, legal assistant, or paralegal experience
Ability to manage a full workload of varied projects and tasks
Detail oriented, highly organized, a quick learner, clear, thorough
Ability to monitor and manage firm and client deadlines
Timely execution of essential tasks
Excellent typing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including legal and other writing skills
Experience using templates with merge fields
Experience preparing and submitting agency filings
Familiarity with legal case management systems; knowledge of Clio preferred
Ability to learn and adapt to new technology, changes, and business innovations
Stickler for privacy, security, confidentiality, and integrity
Work Location/Physical Considerations:
This is an in-office position in a charming Main St. business location with one long flight of stairs and no elevator.
