Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to join our team as a Social Worker and Marketer. This unique role requires a blend of social work proficiency and marketing acumen to both support our clients' needs and promote our services within the community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, coupled with experience in marketing and outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Work Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Provide counseling and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services and resources.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
Marketing Duties:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the agency's services.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including healthcare providers, Insurance providers, community organizations, and potential clients.
- Create marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and social media content.
- Organize and participate in community outreach events and informational sessions.
- Track and analyze marketing efforts to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Social Worker in Illinois.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting.
- Experience in marketing, public relations, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of community resources and services available to clients.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in social media and digital marketing tools is a plus.
