We’re Thai Pot Noodles Shop, a cozy family-owned noodle shop in Gladstone Park. We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join us this Fall (September–December). This is an unpaid internship, but you’ll gain hands-on experience in restaurant marketing directly from us!
What You’ll Do:
- Visit the restaurant to capture photos and videos of our dishes, kitchen action, etc.
- Help brainstorm creative content ideas for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Write captions, add hashtags, and schedule posts.
- Learn how to promote specials, events, and campaigns through social media.
- Assist with basic marketing tasks (flyers, email newsletters, or online promotions).
What You’ll Learn:
- How to grow a restaurant brand on social media.
- Basics of digital marketing.
- The behind-the-scenes of running campaigns and tracking performance.
- Real-world skills in content creation and design.
Who We’re Looking For:
- High school, college students, or anyone interested in marketing, social media, or communications.
- Beginners welcome, no prior experience needed!
- Creative, reliable, and excited to learn.
- Comfortable with phones/cameras and basic apps like Instagram or TikTok.
- If you know how to handle a camera and/or speak Spanish, that is a plus!
- Able to come in person at least once a week.
Schedule:
- 2–3 days a week (One in-person day at the restaurant + remote work on content editing and posting)
