Position: Chinese-Speaking Warehouse Representative
Location: Franklin Park, IL 60131
Job Description:
Darpet Doors & Trim is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Chinese-speaking Warehouse Representative to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of our products to customers within the Chinese-speaking market.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments of door products and verify their accuracy against packing lists and purchase orders.
Organize and maintain inventory levels by properly storing products in designated warehouse locations.
Prepare orders for shipment to customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill customer orders and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
Qualifications:
Fluency in Chinese and English is required.
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
