Specializing in Custom Fabrication of POP Displays, Merchandiser, racks, fixtures, grids, grilles, guards, baskets, rings in steel aluminum seeking a reliable and honest driver who has done deliveries 2+ years, has driven a straight box truck and familiar with the city and suburbs.
JOB SUMMARY:
A reliable, honest, and trustworthy driver to operate a straight box truck, familiar with the City of Chicago and Suburbs and good sense of directions. Person must have good Customer Service and communication skills (English) to interact with customers/vendors and office on a daily base. Person must be able to work 10 hours of OT during the week!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliveries to Chicago and Suburbs
Daily routine maintenance checks and ensuring the truck (inside/outside) is kept clean and orderly
Drive sit-down forklift
Assist with loading and unloading the trucks as needed
Available to work OT as needed
QUALIFICATION:
1 to 2 years' experience as a Delivery Driver
Valid Standard Illinois Driver's License (No Special License is required) and proud of Auto Insurance
Read work order forms for direction / instruction
4-DAY WORK SCHEDULE / GUARENTEED 32-HOURS UNTIL BUSINESS PICKS UP FROM MONDAY TO THURSDAY
1ST SHIFT: 7:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and can vary depending on delivery orders for the day.
PAY RATE RANGE FROM WORK HISTORY/EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET:
18.00 UP TO 22.00
PRE-PLACEMENT SCREENING: E-Verify, Drug Test, Criminal Background Check and MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
CODE OF CONDUCT/DRESS CODE:
No Cell Phone use during working hours other than for the purpose of navigation and route to communicate with Home Office.
Steel Toe Boots/ Shoes and work gloves
Good Hygiene with clean and neat clothes
