ChemGrout is looking for a full time fabricator/welder to build a wide range of grouting equipment.
Job Description
- Fabricating steel weldments of varying sizes: tanks, paddles,
- Monday-Friday, start shift times between 5-7am
- 40 hours/week guaranteed
- Overtime up to 10 hours/week
Requirements
- Experienced MIG/TIG/Stick
- Minimum 5 years experience operating in commercial fabricating/welding
- Must be able to set-up, adjust and maintain welding machine (tip, liner changes, etc.) and weld vertical, horizontal and overhead
- Experience working with mild steel (16Ga through ½” thicknesses)
- Experience working with Steel pipe and plumbing fittings nomenclature
- Comfortable using heavy fabrication equipment: Press brake, power shear, iron worker, drill press, stationary belt grinder, cold saw, etc.
- Comfortable with smaller fabrication equipment: Hand drill, angle grinder, plasma cutter, roller etc
- Work from verbal and written instruction
- Able to read engineering fabrication drawings
- Must be able to use jigs and fixtures to produce weldments
- Understanding of basic math and geometry
- Lift materials manually up to 50+ lbs., or using a hoist.
- Read and understand English
Other skills Valued
- Knowledge of hydraulics and plumbing

- Drive a fork truck
