Midwest Press Brake Dies Inc manufactures tooling for the metal forming industry.
Starting Pay: $22 per hour based on math aptitude score per our exam. Score of 80% required to be considered for candidacy's.
Basic Math & Writing skills
Ability to perform basic calculations
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit/stand for long period.
Once the training period is complete, you will be fully trained to complete the below job duties:
The main focus of the Machine Operator is to operate planer controls and make adjustments as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance on the planer and change parts as needed.
Operate the machine at production rates to efficiently meet production goals.
Conduct visual equipment inspections and assist maintenance in troubleshooting and improving equipment.
Monitor flow of material to and from the machine center to make adjustments as necessary.
Ability to utilize basic math, read charts with decimals and fractions conversions: measurements will go into the thousands.
Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers.
Handle raw material sometimes measuring 25’ in length.
Masks may be required subject to government guidelines
