We need a part time mechanical engineer. Easy work but off and on steady. We design aluminum tables of different sizes and shapes and is used for vacuum hold down. So tables and some bases for the tables. No moving parts. Everything made out of aluminum and steel. Must know how to use and design in Solidworks 3D.
Easy work and not steady. Maybe work for a 10 hours one week and then nothing for 3 weeks then off and on discussions then a 15 hours week. But work for 10 years. All industrial customers.
After a full understanding of the process, work can be done at home. Lots of phone discussions. Great work for a retired guy board doing nothing and this is easy after a full understanding of the process. The process is fun and we are one of the only in the USA doing this type of manufacturing.
Our engineer retired after 25 years.
