The Pinball Playfield Finisher - Sprayer is responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing the playfields of pinball machines. This role involves applying a urethane clear coat using conventional spray guns, ensuring smooth and flawless finishes. The ideal candidate should have experience with spray painting techniques and an understanding of finishing processes in a manufacturing setting.
Key job responsibilities include:
1. Apply urethane base and top coats using conventional spray guns, ensuring even coverage and proper thickness.
2. Inspect playfields for any defects, including dust, runs, or uneven finishes, and correct as necessary.
3. Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and other tools used in the finishing process, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
4. Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals, paints, and other materials. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including masks and gloves, to ensure a safe working environment.
5. Record and track work done, including coatings used, batches, and any issues encountered during the process.
Experience:
Prior experience in spray painting, particularly in a manufacturing or automotive environment, is preferred.
Experience with clear coating or finishing large surfaces is a plus.
Skills:
Expertise in using conventional spray guns.
Strong attention to detail for quality control of finishes.
