We are a medical device company located in Richmond, IL. We are looking for a Production Associate to join our team. This person will be responsible for assisting operations supervisor in all aspects of production, running machines, packaging, quality checks and problem solving. A Slides Associate is a key component in producing quality products for our customers.
Major Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of tasks in different cells within the Slides Department.
Follow the production schedule set by Operations Supervisor.
Uses equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line.
Contribute to the production of quality product by following all defined quality procedures.
Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
Perform quality control testing on all equipment
Follow work instructions and workflow diagrams
Ensure workflow is continuous
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead
Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following all Company safety policies and procedures.
Required Education, Experience, Skills
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; will consider experience in lieu of education
Experience/Skills:
1-2 years’ experience in a factory setting
Competencies/Behaviors
Problem solving skills
Medical Quality background experience
Mechanical aptitude
