Our company is looking for an entry-level metal polisher to join our team. (consistent 10 hours per week - 1099, we are open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm )
Last person in this position was with us for 3 years, and was promoted to fulltime in a different department.
In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, polishing, and buffing metal parts to a high shine. You will also be responsible for setting up and operating polishing and cleaning machinery. The parts you are cleaning/polishing are small you will need to have good hand-eye coordination.
You will have a quota to fill of 100 items per week, once you continuously achieve this quota and are excelling, you will be up for a raise.
Be open-minded about completing other job tasks as needed, we are a small office of 4, and will always have random tasks that come up.
You don't need to be fluent in English, but you need to want to work hard.
A clean criminal background check is a requirement. (no exceptions)
Qualifications:
Some experience with metalworking or polishing is preferred, but not required
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong physical stamina
Be able to stand for up to 4 hours a day
And be able to lift 40lb+
