Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Quoting Associate with a strong foundation in the construction industry and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will manage daily quoting operations, assist customers, and handle both office-related and onsite estimating tasks. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and proficiency with software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily quoting operations, including preparing and managing quotes for various projects.
Answer phone calls and assist will-call customers professionally and efficiently.
Conduct onsite estimates as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Read and interpret blueprints, apply for bids, and create sketches for custom projects such as storefronts, shower doors, and other tailored solutions.
Utilize software tools, including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and quote-generating platforms, to complete tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in glazing, engineering, construction, or a related field.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and quote-generating platforms.
Experience in creating sketches for custom projects is a plus.
Flexibility to handle both office-related and onsite tasks.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and industry practices.
Valid driver's license
