We are a Fastener Distribution Center and Contractor Supply House located on the near northwest side of Chicago. We have been in business for 100 years and are looking for a full time person for our Shipping and Receiving Dept. This is a 6 person department. We are looking for a long term employee willing to learn and grow with our company.
Responsibilities include:
Receiving incoming shipments, printing documents and allocating product to inventory or customer orders.
Handling incoming UPS shipments, processing product to stock or outgoing orders.
Must have experience in basic warehouse and inventory procedures.
Knowledge of threaded fasteners, tools and supplies helpful.
Hours 7:30 am until 4 pm Monday thru Friday. Some overtime is available. Hours may vary slightly.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
All employees are required to learn aspects of numerous jobs.
Fork truck certification required. This can be provided later.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds frequently.
Familiarity with computers required.
Valid drivers license helpful.
Other warehouse duties may be assigned based on the needs of the Department
