Job Description: Office Associate
We are looking for a proactive office associate. The role involves:
Scheduling and dispatching drivers based on predetermined schedules, customer requests, or urgent needs.
Communicating effectively with drivers and colleagues via phone, text, or online communication.
Collaborating with supervisors and customers to resolve issues promptly.
Maintaining records of customer requests, completed work, charges, expenses, and inventory.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in an office environment or a related role.
Proficiency in transportation management software and computer systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in fast-paced environments.
Knowledge of trucking regulations and logistics operations.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.
Must be able to obtain a national security clearance at the Secret level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with emergency protocols and procedures such as accident response, hazardous materials, understanding procedures for handling breakdowns, fires, or other mechanical issues specific to commercial trucks, hours-of-service requirements and driver safety training.
Experience in handling customer concerns and resolving conflicts.
Analytical skills and critical thinking for problem-solving.

Salary Information:
An initial 90-day probationary period at a rate of $18.00 per hour.
The work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
