RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT firm based in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago seeks an Administrative Assistant/Leasing Consultant for apartment management portfolio position. Successful candidate will possess skills and familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat and other general computer knowledge. Strong written and oral communication, 1-2 years property management and/or real estate or other transferable experience preferred but not required. Candidate must also possess the ability to coordinate with contractors and interact with residents. This level of property management is fast-paced and demanding a job that requires juggling many tasks while wearing multiple hats. The potential candidate must be extremely organized, enthusiastic, and have the ability to be resourceful and creative under pressure all the while meeting expected deadlines. The successful candidate will be punctual, reliable, honest, and hard working. Candidate must have great interpersonal skills and comfortable working in a small office environment. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus leasing bonuses!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leasing / Renewals
- Landlord / tenant relations
- Management of work orders
- Assistance with Apartment Turnovers
- Accounts receivable / payable
- Marketing
- Financial reporting
- Parcel Handling
- Other related duties and assignments as required
REQUIREMENTS:
College Degree
Flexible Work Schedule (evenings/weekends)

ENHANCED QUALIFICATIONS (preferred but not required):
College Degree with a Business-related Major that included some Accounting classes
Real Estate/Rental Experience
Knowledge of the Chicago real estate and rental market
Accounts Receivable experience
