Panek Precision, a precision metal machining company in Northbrook, IL, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a full-time position.
Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (overtime as needed) and is an in office position.
Day-to-day responsibilities include but not limited to:
Light receptionist duties: managing phone calls, visitors, meeting preparation, copies and filing
Customer service: Managing EDI, order processing, order maintenance, pricing updates, customer correspondence, quote communications, recording meeting notes, update information logs and completing forms
Data Entry: Orders, quotes, shipping notices, web portal management and reconciliation
Web portals: Upload documents, complete data fields, reconcile inbound/outbound data
Billing & Pricing: Manage price changes, verify accuracy of orders, back up to customer invoicing
Assist Supervisor as needed for special projects, training, onboarding and company events
JobBOSS experience a plus
This is a fast-paced work office. Ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, is organized, detail oriented, a multi-tasker, works efficiently with exceptional communication skills (verbal/written) and is proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word.
Required:
Must be fluent in English and Spanish. This role requires the ability to promptly speak, read, write and translate in English and Spanish.
Customer Service Experience, ideally in manufacturing facility
ERP system experience, i.e. SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, preferably JobBOSS
