MUST HAVE DISPATCH EXPERIENCEBilingual Preferred but not Required
We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed team member who loves dispatching to a team of field workers before and during snow events. The dispatchers primary focus is to be a point of communication between the Operations Team Leaders and Team Members and provide direction to allow team to complete the event safely and efficiently. this position would work part-time, primarily during 2nd and 3rd shift. This individual will collaborate with our HR and Operations teams to assist in preparing for a snow event.
Responsibilities
Available to work evenings and overnight (2nd in to 3rd shifts) in days leading up to snow events
Proactively communicate any pertinent information to the appropriate parties
Monitor drivers to ensure that accounts are completed safely and on time.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems, including identifying issues, thinking critically to determine the best course of action, and implementing solutions.
Work on a computer in various programs to effectively record information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Potential to move in to a full-time, benefits-eligible role depending on interests, performance and business needs following the winter season.
