Job Outline
Assist with/oversee store operations, customer service, and team development
Complete all necessary tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly in its day-to-day business
Work collaboratively within the management team, to trouble-shoot and resolve issues
Share a portion of management duties as determined by personal strengths
Oversee training and ongoing education on our meticulous standards and procedures
Be a key holder with store open and closing responsibilities
Work alongside fellow staff, including assisting customers, stocking merchandise, or cashiering
Oversee and assist all in-house digital printing services (including retouching and restoration) and on-site framing workshop
Communicate regularly with our operations facility where custom framing orders are constructed to ensure orders are completed with 100% accuracy
Identify problems or opportunities for improvement to achieve operational goals
Comfortable with basic math; measurements, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
Comfortable with verbal and written communication with customer base
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience managing, developing and leading employees
Successfully worked in a sales capacity for at least 2 years
Must be able to give constructive feedback in a straightforward manner and solve problems strategically and with urgency
Must be comfortable working in a culture of honest conversation and resolution
Understanding of Word, Excel and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience in art conservation, framing or custom manufacturing a plus, but not a requirement
