We’re seeking a motivated Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our team, providing hardware and software technical support to clients throughout the Chicagoland area — with 99% of assignments in the surrounding suburbs (North and West).
In this role, you’ll be troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing systems directly at Merchants sites. If you’re a hands-on problem-solver who thrives both independently and in a team environment, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your IT career.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support for hardware and software issues
Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS systems and network equipment
Deliver excellent customer service while resolving client issues efficiently
Travel to client sites in company-provided vehicle
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of IT experience (entry level with real-world exposure)
Strong knowledge of computer network systems
Ability to pass certification within 4 weeks of hire
Self-motivated, able to work without direct supervision
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Punctual and reliable
Must be able to provide documentation of your work eligibility in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a background check.
