Looking for a technician to perform a web camera/Security camera installation at up to four locations. You will be converting some existing camera systems to a new DVR system and also installing some new IP cameras at some locations, up to 20 new cameras. Cat5 network cable will need to run to each camera and each cable will need to be terminated with RJ45 connection ends. Each camera will need to be mounted/pointed. Most cameras are located indoors with 1 or 2 outdoors. This is a one - three day job at each location.
Here is the scope of work to be completed:
- Remove camera cables from existing security system and attach to new equipment.
- Install and connect a POE network switch to current internet router on site.
- Run a cable to each of the new IP cameras for locations expanding.
- Terminate each cable with RJ45 connectors
- Mount the new cameras
- Install new DVR/Computer server into equipment racks.
You will need the following tools/skills
- RJ45 Crimp Tool
-RJ45 connection ends
-Install tools such as a drill, hammers, etc... pretty basic
You might have to drill some interior-holes through drywall to run cables. Most areas will be easily accessible.
- We can provide cable or will reimburse for cat5 cable you provide, zip ties, etc...
Please have experience installing security camera and web/ip camera systems.
Pay for this job is $30-40/hour depending on experience.
