Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, relationship-focused Commercial Cleaning Sales Representative to join our expanding team. In this hybrid role, you will identify new business opportunities, conduct facility walkthroughs, deliver customized cleaning proposals, and build long-term client relationships throughout the Chicagoland area.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and secure new commercial cleaning accounts across various industries
Conduct onsite facility walkthroughs to assess needs and determine cleaning scope
Prepare detailed janitorial proposals, service plans, and pricing
Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility directors, and business owners
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals
Maintain accurate CRM entries, activity logs, and pipeline updates
Partner with operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions when needed
Qualifications
1–3 years of sales experience; commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility services preferred
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Understanding of cleaning standards, frequencies, and janitorial service structures is a plus
Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a hybrid work environment
Strong presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
