Position Overview:
DTK Stone Works is looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Consultant to join our team in Wheeling, IL. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about design, enjoys working with customers, and thrives in a consultative sales environment. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the selection process, understanding their needs, and providing expert recommendations on stone products and services. You will play a key role in driving sales, building relationships, and contributing to the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on stone products and design solutions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and home builders.
Conduct showroom consultations, guiding customers through product selections that align with their project needs.
Identify customer needs, offer tailored solutions, and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
Provide accurate and competitive sales quotations and follow up on proposals.
Lead Management & Business Development:
Proactively reach out to potential clients through networking, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
Follow up on leads, appointments, and ongoing projects to nurture relationships and generate repeat business.
Work closely with marketing to support promotional efforts, including showroom events and product showcases.
Order Coordination & Customer Satisfaction:
Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Address customer concerns or issues professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Follow up after job completion to maintain customer relationships and encourage referrals.
Industry Knowledge & Professional Growth:
Stay updated on the latest trends in the stone industry, interior design, and home construction.
Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales techniques to improve customer experience and sales performance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the stone, construction, interior design, or related industries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative sales approach.
Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into customized solutions.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to grow within the industry.
Proficiency in CRMsoftware(Hub Spot is preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
