Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Independent Contractor Hairstylist or Barber to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled stylist who desires the flexibility of being an independent contractor while benefiting from collaboration and support from a vibrant salon community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a range of hair services, including cuts, styling, coloring, and treatments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and products in the hair industry.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure a positive client experience.
- Participate in promotional events and marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Uphold salon standards regarding appearance, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license in Illinois.
- Proven experience as a Hairdstylist/Barber- Photos/Instagram is welcomed of previous work.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
