We are seeking a talented and passionate Men’s Hair Stylist to join our team at our thriving West Loop salon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in men’s hair styling and cosmetology and a strong ability to provide exceptional service to our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will offer men’s haircuts, coloring, scalp treatments and waxing services. We are a hard working team looking to add a high-energy, team-player stylist who specializes in men’s cuts.
Duties
Provide high-quality hair styling and grooming services including cuts, coloring, scalp treatments and waxing services.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of tools and work areas.
Utilize Square for appointment scheduling and client management.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer personalized recommendations.
Provide excellent customer service and a warm, welcoming environment to all customers
Collaborate and work well as a team and with others.
Assist in store management tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the salon.
Experience
Proven experience as a Men’s Hair Stylist with a valid cosmetology lciense.
Proficiency in hair styling & grooming techniques including cutting, color, and waxing.
Familiarity with Square or salon software
Strong, professional communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the salon.
2 years hair styling experience preferred
Pay
Hair Stylists start at a 45% commission rate + tips with the potential to move to 50% after successfully completing a 3 month period.
