Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Technician to join our repair team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about DJ equipment and audio technology, with a strong background in electronics and hands-on repair experience.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and Repair: Identify and troubleshoot issues in DJ equipment, including controllers, mixers, amplifiers, and lighting systems.
Component-Level Repairs: Perform soldering, board-level diagnostics, and component replacements to restore equipment to optimal functionality.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of repaired equipment to ensure it meets performance standards.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, including parts used, labor hours, and outcomes.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing repair parts inventory, ensuring availability of necessary components.
Customer Communication: Provide updates to customers regarding repair status and estimated completion times.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in electronics repair, preferably with a focus on audio or DJ equipment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in soldering, circuit board repair, and use of diagnostic tools.
Knowledge: Familiarity with DJ equipment brands such as Pioneer DJ, Denon DJ, Numark, and others.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
30 Hours per week.
Competitive Salary: $25 per hour
