Apply NowWe are seeking a Full-Time Registered/Certified Medical Assistant to become part of our fast-growing team! In this role, you will provide outreach to participants who are in healthcare programs such as care management, remote monitoring, or quality improvement. These services help improve access to care for underserved populations, help close gaps in care and reduce healthcare disparities.ResponsibilitiesConduct in-home visits to complete lab testing services as indicated by the health plan. These may include HbA1c, kidney screening, renal function panel (blood draw, urine sample, finger prick)Conduct home visits to take an image of the patient's eye with a specialized camera, also known as a Diabetic Retinopathy Exam (DRE)Upload DRE images to a reading center where the image will be evaluated by an eye care professional/OphthalmologistRun samples and upload lab test resultsProvide a variety of in-home assignments as well as onboarding services for participants in the remote monitoring programDeliver biometric devices to patients in their homes (i.e. blood pressure monitor, scale, blood glucose meter)Help patients determine optimal location in the home for storing devices and taking readings, as well as determine a routine/schedule for taking readingsProvide patient with an overall program orientation and protocols for program complianceTroubleshoot device issuesProvide COVID-19 vaccination and influenza support at multiple community clinics throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbsPerform required administrative tasks in a timely manner via multiple client relationship management (CRM) systemsQualifications and Requirements MUST be a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (proof of certification is required - a diploma will not suffice) MUST have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance- MUST be fully vaccinated Willing to drive to patient homes throughout Greater Chicagoland and the surrounding counties (e.g., McHenry, Kankakee) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Due to the nature of our business, we will perform a toxicology screen and background checkSalary and BenefitsThe salary for the position is $23/hr.
