Voltek Electric is hiring a seasoned Commercial & Industrial Service Electrician to lead service tickets for retail, light‐industrial, warehouse, and facility maintenance accounts. You’ll handle the majority commercial/industrial workload with occasional light residential service. We run a highly digital, management-efficient operation: you’ll work with clear SOPs, checklists, and mobile app workflows, and you’ll have a lot of freedom and autonomy to execute jobs the right way the first time. No micro-managing employees.
What you’ll do (examples):
Diagnose/repair commercial & industrial electrical issues (panels, feeders, lighting, controls, motor circuits, VFDs, RTUs, signage power, receptacles)
Perform small TIs, panel/service work, lighting retrofits, emergency/after-hours resets (as scheduled)
Execute checklist-driven SOPs: safety, LOTO, torque logs, labeling, photo closeout, commissioning notes
Use your phone to input data (arrival/ETA, notes, parts, photos) and follow digital workflows to close tickets cleanly
Communicate clearly with facility contacts & dispatch; maintain code compliance and site professionalism
What we’re looking for:
5–10 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience with proven autonomy on service calls
Strong troubleshooting (panels, controls, lighting, motor circuits), prints/schematics literacy, NEC familiarity
Comfortable following procedures and executing checklists to ensure consistent quality every time
Reliable transportation and basic hand tools (we provide specialty gear/PPE as needed)
Safety-first mindset; able to lift 50 lbs and work from ladders as required
We are always busy and always have work. Working after-hours, emergencies, nights, weekends is available but only optional at the employee's discretion.
