The Construction Apprentice assists our expert craftsmen in their tiling, carpentry, plumbing electrical work, and painting. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in residential remodeling and renovation. Requirements:
Know how to read a ruler
Be able to add two lengths, such as 3 foot 11 and a three-quarter inches + 4 foot 2 and half inches
Be able to handle the job physically, which means occasionally carrying up to 50 lbs on your shoulder
Have an affable personality
Have a good mechanical sense
Have a car and valid driver's license
You DO NOT need construction experience, but only a desire to learn it and grow your skills. If you have skills that will help you, that may result in a higher pay grade.
We'd love to hire a veteran. A past felony does not exclude being hired, but we would like to find out about it from you and talk about it. Basic English is necessary.
