I'm in the process of renovating a home and need someone to work alongside myself to help complete whatever tasks are required. Most upcoming work is framing related, so I'll need help carrying, cutting, measuring, building walls, sistering joists, etc. in the near future. Experience in residential construction to some degree would be preferred, but is not required. I will provide instruction where needed. Must have good mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with various hand and power tools. Must be able to lift 50 lb and be comfortable on a ladder.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who already has work or other commitments, but is looking to pick up some extra hours. My typical schedule is 1 pm to 7 pm most weekdays and 8 am to 6 pm on weekends. In October, I'll be able to start working around 9 am on weekdays. I usually try to bring in help 4 or 5 days a week. I'll let you know in advance what days/times I'm planning to work in the upcoming week, and you can let me know if you are free to help out. I don't need a commitment to a particular schedule or number of hours up front. There will be some projects that you can do independently on your own schedule as well.
Because most of the work will be assisting me during the hours that I'm working, this work will pay on an hourly basis and not by project.
