Position Overview:
As the Lead Technician, you will oversee shop operations, handling everything from complex diagnostics to electric vehicle repairs and programming. You’ll ensure that our shop operates efficiently, maximizing vehicle turnaround time while maintaining the high standards that our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee diagnostics, troubleshooting, and ECU programming for a range of vehicles
- Manage complicated repair situations, including electric and hybrid vehicles
- Maximize shop productivity to ensure timely vehicle servicing
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians to ensure quality work
- Maintain tools, equipment, and software for vehicle programming
- Collaborate with management to enhance shop operations and achieve company goals
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a professional automotive repair environment
- Expertise in diagnostics, troubleshooting, vehicle programming, and electric vehicles
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Proficiency with both foreign and domestic vehicle repairs
- Must have your own tools and toolbox
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license
