Our south Chicago client manufactures steel billboard structures including roof mount, wall mounts and both multipole and monopole, self-supporting signs. They are looking for an Operations Manager.
Principle Duties:
The Operations Manager will have the overall responsibility for all aspects of the day to day operation. This includes engineering, shop production and field work.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to President & General Manager
Direct reports Production team
Support to Sales, Estimating
Support from Office Mgr., Sales, President & General Manager
Authority:
Set policy
Hire and fire employees in accordance with company policy
Direct & manage all employees in the operations department
Purchasing & negotiations with subcontractors
Responsibilities Include:

Job scheduling
Information technology
Participate in the level 10 meetings and the EOS process

Overall completion of jobs turned in on budget both cost and man hours
Cost of goods sold as a percentage of the work produced
