Experienced striper and seal coater will be able to:
Layout and stripe parking lots as assigned (highways) (short lines) (arrows) (stencils).
Perform basic maintenance on striping equipment.
Effectively work with all varieties of striping equipment.
Ability to read all blueprints/ plans.
Operating core machines / sign installation.
Clean and prepare pavement for paint, epoxy, tape, or thermoplastic.
Lift, carry, load, and unload construction items, including pavement marking supplies, safety cones, stencils, etc.
Works well under stressful and time sensitive projects.
Willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or foremen with other duties and requirements.
Reviewing daily job sheets and loading all required materials prior to leaving to job location
Verifying that all equipment is being used properly and reporting any issues immediately
Safely apply the crack fill material with the use of crack kettle and/or pushcart applicators
Safely apply the seal coat material with the use of spray wands, squeegee and machines
Verifying all applications are being applied to the company and customer standards
Properly shutting down all equipment when the job is complete ensuring all tools have been collected and securely fastened in trucks / trailers.
Ensure all paperwork is completed and returned daily
FOLLOW SAFETY POLICIES.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a driver’s license with insurable driving record.
Understands both English and Spanish.
At least 2 years of experience.
Great communication skills
Ability to work 6 days per week (weekends), or when required.
Work overtime when required
Lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Receive and understand specific instructions
Willing to work outdoors and in all types of weather.
