Attention Woodworkers With At Home Workshops:Make Money Restoring Our Furniture In The Comfort of Your Own Shop - Work As Little or As Much As You Want and Get Paid Immediately For Every Piece You Finish
This is a great opportunity if you ever wanted to just focus on woodworking without all the hassles and expenses of running a business, finding and dealing with customers.
Here's the deal:
We are a growing vintage furniture company here in Countryside that restores and refinishes many pieces of furniture per day in our own in-house wood shop before they are shipped out to our customers.
The problem is, we've now reached a point where the number of pieces we need to work on every day has out-paced the capacity of our shop and available manpower.
Therefore, we are seeking people like YOU with your own home-based workshops to work with us to help get these pieces done and we will pay you very well in return.
The types of things we do every day in our wood shop here at our furniture warehouse include:
- Scuffing / Sanding / stripping the piece down to prepare it for our spray booth finishing team
- Repairing damaged wood or veneer (basic chip repair all the way to more serious types of damage)
- Totally refinishing pieces and color matching it to the client's preference
- Fixing or fabricating broken or missing parts (such as drawer pulls, wooden legs, etc)
The furniture we work with most are all types of pieces from the 50's, 60's and 70's: credenzas, dressers, dining chairs, dining tables, lounge chairs, shelving units, desks - you name it.
Here's how it would work:Step 1. We have a large list of pieces available to work on at any given time. You can look through our list and pick only the pieces that you want to work on based on your knowledge, experience, and available time to work. For example, maybe you can do certain types of work much better and faster than others, so you could choose only those pieces that match your abilities. That way, you are always working with the types of pieces you love to do and have set up your shop to handle most efficiently.Step 2. "Check out" the pieces from us like they were library books. You can come pick up the pieces yourself here at our warehouse in Countryside OR we can deliver them to you via our large box truck several at a time. Either way, we have to get them over to your shop so you can start.Step 3. You finish the required work for each piece you checked out from us and let us know when you're done.Step 4. Bring the pieces back to us at the warehouse OR we can schedule our truck to come pick them up from your shop.
Then repeat the whole process over again when you're ready for more :)
Like I said, with this model of working, you can focus purely on what you love about woodworking and leave all the other details to us. Work as much or as little as you want by checking out the pieces you want from us and returning them when you're done. Simple as that.
