This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently while delivering freight on time.
Duties
Operate and drive semi trucks.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with 2+ years of expiriance.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
