Position: Delivery Driver
Location & Availability: Wheaton, IL part-time Mon-Sat 9am-6pm 20 hours per week.
Location & Availability: La Grange, IL Part-time Mon, Fri, and Sat 9am-6pm.
Position Summary
We currently have Delivery Driver openings in our La Grange and Wheaton retail locations! We are looking for friendly, professional and dependable drivers that will deliver beautiful floral arrangements to our valued customers. We pride ourselves in our exceptional customer service and high-quality products. This role is perfect for retired individuals looking for a part-time job with flexible hours. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of floral arrangements to our customers.
Specific Duties
Drive floral products to customers and ensure delivery of product is at the right location.
Inventory and account for products that are not delivered. Ability to optimize delivery of product based on customer delivery times and location of delivery.
Assist store manager with daily maintenance of the store such as sweeping, taking out garbage, and climbing ladders up to 6 feet occasionally.
Being available to help with weekend events on Saturday is a must.
Skills and Qualifications
Flexible availability a must.
21 years of age or older valid driver’s license clean driving record a must.
Driving experience in a commercial setting and/or experienced as a laborer or handy person.
Good attitude, professional and courteous at all times.
Able to drive and deliver to residential and all business locations within the surrounding area.
Ability to optimize delivery route to ensure packages are organized prior to route and delivered timely.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach above head up to 25 pounds.
